Queens Park Kimberley

The park contains many fine trees, shrubberies and fountains, a fine old face-brick Tennis Club pavilion. The park was created in 1874 as the Kimberley Public Gardens and soon became a popular venue. Activities included weekend concerts by the Philharmonic Society’s Brass band in the bandstand (now dismantled), cricket matches, and swimming in the pool. Queens Park is also the the location of the monthly Kimberley Town & Country Market.
