Members of Kimberley’s Safety and Security Task Team, a community crime-fighting organisation, say they were assaulted twice in Stockdale Street on January 14 as they intensified operations against alleged CBD drug “kingpins”, while separate action led to the removal of illegal gambling machines and the closure of a mouse-infested Galeshewe tuck shop.
