KIMBERLEY – Drive safe and take note, the robot on the corner of Du Toitspan and Allen road is still out of order.
The robot is stuck on red and has been intermittently broken since before 2019.
Check both directions when travelling there. The busy intersection is effectively a four-way stop now.
Loadshedding woes
The intersection at Memorial and Mac Dougal road is also intermittently affected and must be manually reset and started by a technician after any power failure or loadshedding in the area.
