GALESHEWE – Operation Wanya Tsotsi (OWT) confiscated stolen goods and a large number of dangerous weapons in the community.
In a Facebook post, OWT thanked the men and women for their selfless efforts, who are making the community safe again.
“We confiscated a large number of dangerous weapons that could have robbed and killed many people. Some of the people that were apprehended were handed over to the Police.”
OWT has criticized the police saying that they do not want to hand over the weapons for fear it ends up back in the hands of criminals.
They are now on anyone who can help to destroy the weapons for assistance and also invited the police to witness the destruction.
