KIMBERLEY – A teenager has died in a hit and run accident yesterday around 14:10 in Phakamile Mabija Road, just before the flyover at Moghul Park, after a driver of a white VW Caddy allegedly bumped him off his bicycle.
The police are requesting assistance from the community to help find the suspect.
Police spokesperson Capt. Tessa Jansen says that a driver of a white VW Caddy allegedly collided with the boy and failed to stop.
She says the police would like to request from the community to come forward if they have witnessed the accident or noted the registration number of the white VW Caddy.
