KIMBERLEY – The new playground at the park in Homestead on Barkly Road hasn’t been played in after 10 days, and it has already been vandalised, according to reports from the community.
Kim Mc Anda, a city resident, posted on social media after finding that the new swings have been stolen.
She says this happened because there is no fence or security at the park. Mc Anda says to protect the park people should only about entry with proof of address.
She says the community’s kids can’t even go there. There are always people from other suburbs there that do not follow social distancing guidelines or wear masks, Mc Anda concludes.
