KIMBERLEY – The section of Anderson Road close to the intersection with Long Street has deteriorated to a very bad state and has become impossible to use.
Loreen Ludik, a resident here, says they cannot make use of Anderson road anymore. “We are forced to use another road,” she says.
Further, she states: “I have complained to call centre, to the mayor of Kimberley Patrick Mabilo as well as Carol Pearce about those potholes. Next to those holes on the pavement, there are huge holes they left just like that after fixing leakages before.”
Ludik says despite the repairs, it’s still leaking and the reeds and grass have become overgrown and the leaking water or sewerage has become hidden by the overgrowth.
“I know this because I live in Anderson Road for many years. Too ashamed to say where I Iive.”
