On the night Honolulu Police Department (HPD) killed Lindani, HPD obtained and reviewed the Ring Video Doorbell recordings. They show a very different story from the one HPD started disseminating to the public the next day.
On 14 April 2021 Honolulu Police shot and killed Lindani Myeni, a 29-year-old unarmed father of two from South Africa. He was killed in his own neighbourhood in Oahu Hawaii.
