USA – According to Tim Pool of TimCast.com, it appears as if the U.S. Air Force may have accidentally shot down a hobbyist balloon with an F-22 in an epic blunder under orders from Joe Biden.
According to the Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade (NIBBB), a small, globe-trotting balloon declared “missing in action” on Feb. 15 may be the object that was shot down by four heat-seeking missiles launched by U.S. Air Force fighters since Feb. 10. The silver-coated, party-style, “pico balloon” reported its last position on Feb. 10 at 38,910 ft. off the west coast of Alaska, and the HYSPLIT model provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) projected the cylindrically shaped object would be floating high over the central part of the Yukon Territory on Feb. 11 – the same day a Lockheed Martin F-22 shot down an unidentified object of a similar description and altitude in the same general area.
The NIBBB has yet to point fingers, but the circumstantial evidence is at least intriguing. If it is confirmed that the F-22 was responsible for shooting down the balloon, it would be a major embarrassment for the Biden Administration. The balloon was part of a hobbyist club, and shooting it down would be considered a serious violation of international law.
The Biden Administration has yet to comment on the incident, but it is likely that they are waiting for more information before making any official statements. If it is confirmed that the F-22 was responsible for shooting down the balloon, it would be a major embarrassment for the Biden Administration and could have serious repercussions.
In the meantime, the NIBBB is still searching for answers. The club is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to the recovery of the balloon.
