At only 11 years old, Romario Valentine has already made a remarkable impact on the environment. He has helped clean nearly 300 beaches, planted over 450 trees around the world, worked with the United Nations, and even raised more than R20,000 for the conservation of endangered birds this past Christmas.

Romario began his environmental journey at the age of 8, when he first joined a beach clean-up group in his hometown of Durban. Since then, he has been actively involved in numerous environmental projects, such as planting trees in Mozambique, working with the United Nations to promote sustainable development, and raising awareness about the importance of preserving our planet.

Romario is an inspiration to many, as he has demonstrated that it is possible to make a difference, no matter how young you are. He has shown that anyone can make a positive impact on the environment, and that small actions can have a big impact.

Romario’s work has been recognized by various organizations, including the United Nations, who awarded him with the UN Global Goals Award in 2020. He has also been invited to speak at various conferences and events, and has been featured in several media outlets.

Romario is a true example of what can be achieved when we come together to protect our planet. We can all learn from his example and be inspired to make a difference in our own way.
