Ingredients:
- 500g stewing beef
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 500ml beef stock
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 1kg potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Heat the oil in a large pot or casserole dish over medium-high heat.

- Transfer the casserole to the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
