This Sunday, Carte Blanche investigates a shocking case of corruption at Eskom and asks why no one has been held responsible.
Earlier last month, former Eskom CEO André de Ruyter gave an explosive interview on e.tv, in which he claimed corruption at the highest levels of the South African energy company. Reports later emerged of a secret intelligence dossier, on which many of de Ruyter’s claims were based.
Carte Blanche is asking why none of those exposed in the dossier has been named, and more importantly, why no arrests have been made.
The corruption scandal has been ongoing for years, and the report reveals deep-rooted collusion and fraud by a number of Eskom executives.
Carte Blanche will speak to de Ruyter, as well as Eskom officials and investigators, to find out why the corruption has been allowed to continue for so long.
Don’t miss this Sunday’s episode of Carte Blanche, airing at 19:00 on M-Net.
