De Beers Faces Water Pressure Hiccup as Newton Reservoir Encounters Supply Issues

DE BEERS, KIMBERLEY – Democratic Alliance Ward Councillor Simone Greeff, representing Ward 21 in the Sol Plaatje Municipality of Kimberley, issued a brief statement addressing water pressure concerns in the De Beers community this morning. Beginning with a polite “Goeie more,” she acknowledged the challenges faced by the Newton Reservoir, leading to a temporary decline in water pressure.

“Waterdrukking baie swak so ons moet net bietjie geduldig wees hulle het effens probleem gehad by die Newton Reservoir,” she conveyed, translating to, “Water pressure is very weak, so we just need to be a bit patient as they have had a slight problem at the Newton Reservoir.”

Ending with a heartfelt “Byvoorbaad dankie,” Councillor Greeff expressed gratitude in advance for the community’s understanding during this inconvenience.
