A massive, multi-agency rescue operation is continuing at Ekapa Minerals’ Joint Shaft Mine in Kimberley after a sudden mud rush trapped five mineworkers nearly 890 metres underground, with families, government, unions and the wider mining industry rallying behind a race against time.
