Sol Plaatje Speaker Dipuo Peters is facing escalating legal bills, after it was reported that she paid around R193,000 this week to prevent her Mazda CX-5 from being attached. The Northern Cape High Court has also issued cost orders against the mayor and Speaker in relation to court appeals linked to the suspension of municipal manager Thapelo Matlala.
