Organisers of the planned June 30 march in Kimberley insist the demonstration will proceed peacefully as they call for stricter enforcement of immigration laws and greater support for locally owned businesses. While civic groups reject claims that the march is driven by xenophobia or Afrophobia, some foreign nationals say they have no intention of leaving the city despite calls for undocumented immigrants to do so.
