A week-long operation across the Northern Cape resulted in 225 arrests, with the police also shutting down illegal liquor outlets and confiscating drugs, cash, stolen copper cable and dangerous weapons. The intelligence-driven operation, which ran from July 6 to 12, included roadblocks, stop-and-search operations, compliance inspections and community outreach programmes aimed at disrupting crime across the province.
