KIMBERLEY – What a year 2020 was, some of us lost loved ones and some of us like myself were left jobless without livelihood and income.
Never give up
Instead of giving up or begging on the streets, I hustled and bustled from day to day while searching for work. Due to the pandemic finding a job is like a needle in a haystack, and by the final stretch of the year, I gave up my wings and sold my motorcycle.
Passion for journalism
Journalism is my passion, and I love writing about the people of Kimberley. From Roodepan and Galeshewe all the way down to Beaconsfield and Greenpoint, and in between.
A call to support community journalism
I am calling on everyone from Kimberley and the rest of the country to support community journalism and to subscribe to The Kimberley Prospector to help me continue my passion for journalism.
A monthly goal has been set on The Kimberley Prospector which will allow for funding including fuel and other expenses to make it possible to go out and report on what is happening in your city.
