OVERBERG – Louis Olivier, a “wonderful” man from Betty’s Bay, saved the day after coming to the aid of a motorcyclist who got stranded just outside of town.

Anschen Bekker du Plessis thanked Olivier in a Facebook post on a Hermanus group for helping her son get home safely.

She says: “My son’s motorbike broke down right across a farmhouse outside Betty’s Bay. My son asked for help at the farmhouse. Immediately this wonderful man came out with his full toolbox to assist.

Anschen says: “When nothing could be done, he offered to load the bike onto his bakkie and delivered the bike to Stellenbosch right at the Repair shop.”

“Our hearts are warmed to think people are still Good and carry the Lord’s attitude in their hearts. To help a stranger. Thank you Louis Olivier for your kindness.”
