Nico de Koker (31), Tsokolo Olyne (28) and Hendry Smith (33) was sentenced for the brutal murder of Dick de Koker in the Kathu Magistrate’s Court
According to a police spokesperson the incident occurred on 23 March 2019 at Makoudam in Postmasburg when the three accused brutally murdered 31-year-old Dick de Koker and carried his lifeless body to a veld and set it alight.”
“The three accused, Nico de Koker (31) and Tsokolo Olyne (28) was sentenced to life imprisonment while Hendry Smith (33) was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment.”
“The Station Commander of Postmasburg, Lt Col Andries Witbooi welcomed the sentencing. He applauded the investigating team of Postmasburg SAPS and Detective WO Diphoko who worked tirelessly in finding and linking the suspects who perpetrated this horrendous crime.”
