The skies over South Africa have been alive with unusual activity lately, with reports of multiple UFO sightings. Citizens of False Bay, Strand, Hout Bay, and Gordon’s Bay have all reported seeing strange floating lights and white orbs of light travelling at lightning speed.
The first sighting occurred in False Bay on February 17th, 2023. At approximately 23:56, witnesses reported seeing round yellow lights floating above the sea horizon, visible from a flat in Strand. There was no sound and the lights randomly appeared and disappeared. The sighting was reported to the National Sea Rescue Institute in Gordons Bay.
The second sighting was made in Hout Bay on February 14th, 2023. At around 21:30, witnesses spotted a series of white elliptical lights travelling back and forth between two mountain peaks. The number of orbs changed from six to two, and they moved quickly and continuously.
On the 13th of February, 2023, there was another sighting over Gordon’s Bay. During a night of load shedding, witnesses spotted multiple lights appearing and disappearing in the sky. Some were faint, some were bright, and some travelled in triangular formations. The lights were seen for about two hours before the power came back on.
The appearance of these UFO sightings has left many South Africans wondering what is going on in the sky. Are these unidentified celestial visitors making their mark? Or could this be part of a midnight drone competition that we are unaware of? Whatever the cause, it is clear that something strange is happening in the skies of South Africa.
