KWAZULU-NATAL – A tragedy occurred on Tuesday afternoon on the N2 North Bound, just before the Mount Edgecombe off-ramp in Umhlanga, Durban. A double truck collision took the life of an adult male motorcyclist.

Netcare 911 responded to the scene at 14:20 and was joined by ALS Paramedics, IPSS Medical Rescue, SAPS Search and Rescue, Phoenix SAPS, and the Durban Metropolitan Police Services. Upon assessment, the motorcyclist was found to have been killed in the collision. The drivers of the two trucks were not injured.

The events that led up to the collision are still under investigation by the relevant authorities.
