Lydenburg, Mpumalanga – A woman was shot dead during a robbery at a petrol station in Lydenburg, Mpumalanga, on Friday night.

CCTV footage of the robbery shows eight suspects arriving at the petrol station in a white bakkie. Two of the suspects can be seen with rifles. All of the suspects are dressed in hoodies and face masks, and most of them are wearing blue, and one of the suspects is wearing gloves.

The woman was shot and killed as the suspects fled. Police are investigating murder and armed robbery, and have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.

The robbery has sparked outrage on social media, with many people calling for the suspects to be caught and brought to justice.

The CCTV footage of the robbery was posted on Twitter by Yusuf Abramjee, a South African journalist.

The robbery is believed to have taken place Friday night, but the has not yet been confirmed by police.
